If your treasured dolls need any surgery we will follow a strict process to provide you with an accurate quote for necessary repairs to be carried out within a specified timeframe.
QUOTE—In order to be able to provide you with a quote we must see the patient. This might be inconvenient for many doll owners but, unfortunately, there is no other way to establish what repairs might be necessary. Photographs or verbal descriptions might not provide us with enough information and we also look for internal damage that might not be obvious immediately.
DELIVERING THE PATIENT—This can be done in person at the dolly surgery located in Fadden, Canberra. Alternatively, patients can be ambulanced using registered Australia Post or courier.
QUOTATION TIME—Depending on the level of repair that is required it might take a few days or, in some cases, a few weeks to provide you with an accurate quote as parts might have to be ordered and subsequent repair prices established. The average quotation time is around five working days.
APPROVAL—Once the quote is ready we will call you to discuss the quote, advise you of the price, and request your approval to proceed if you are happy with the quote. No deposit is required to commence repairs.
SURGERY—Surgery depends upon the availability and schedule of the specialist repairer as well as the backlog of sick patients to be treated. We will do our best to give you an idea of the time that surgery might take. However, in some cases it can take longer than the time that has been quoted. For example, things such as the weather can unavoidably hold up repainting and other processes.
POST-OP—As soon as surgery has been completed we will call to notify you that your precious dolly can be taken home.
PAYMENT—Before the patient can be released into your care payment for all repairs will be required.
PATIENT PICK-UP—All patients can be picked up in person at the surgery in Fadden, Canberra, or they can be ambulanced home using registered Australia Post or courier.
